Gay Society

Singapore Bans Gay Kissing Photos

Thomas Jefferson said once, “It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no God.” I would like to go a little further than that by saying: “It does me no injury for my neighbor to have sexual relationships with whoever the fuck he wants as long as am not involved, except if is a hot chick.”

People who have sexual preference for other people from the same sex have been persecuted for as long as they have existed. This is due because they are different in the same way that black people are different from white people. Now, black people after years of fighting they earn the same rights as everybody, they are accepted by the society. In contrast, gay people are a segregated group of the society because they are being deny of the same rights as everybody. They are not allowed to marriage and in every chance there are people who attack them just because they fuck each other asses.

The Catholic Church has a starting role in this issue. They are against of homosexuality and against gay marriage. Meaning that every Catholic believer will be completely and unreasonably against homosexuality. Therefore, we can officially blame on religion of most of the discrimination towards gay people, the other half is homophobia.

A lot of people who are against gay marriage state that if gay marriage is legalized it will become a threat for traditional family. That if they are allowed to adoption their sons will be gay and then, there will be no more straight people and it will be the end of the world. Other people think is it a disease and it is contagious. They think that homosexuality should be erase from the world because they see them as a threat

If two people want to marriage each other, who are you to say that that is reserved to straight couples. With what authority the Government intervene in something that should be a private matter between two persons. Well there is not arguing with religious people who don’t want gay marriage. However the Government and Church are separated and the Government’s duty is to secure the rights of the people, without caring about prejudices or religious conceptions.

The ones who think that homosexuality is a threat are using the same mentality that let to four hundreds years of slavery. Just because they are different.

Now, I know the introduction was pretty hard but let me make it up for you guys.

Damn I love this blog.

Apple’s Supremacy

Nowadays i don’t care if there is a brand new Iphone or an IPod plus deluxe of 2000Gb. I’ve came to realized that for anyone who have a little of experience with computer will find Apple’s products a big waste of money, yet, this is not true. Every since in a while, there’s a brand new Apple product and people pay big cash only to be cooler than the poor guy with a Pc or a MP4. In technology, Apple’s products are what “Bling Bling” are to rappers.

A very good example of what am saying is MacBook Air which is the thinnest notebook ever. Do you know what makes this notebook so special? it is the thinnest notebook ever!!! Of course after buying it you might also notice its other features. MacBook Air has a 60-80 Gb storage of hard disk, 1.6-1.8 GHz of processor and 2 Gb of ram. Now you can get this for less than 600$, however, you have to buy it for no less than 1,799$. A price a lot way out of proportion but what can you expect if you are buying the thinnest notebook in the world. And this is just the top of its problems. It also has an overheating problem, shorting the life of the CPU. Apple has tried fixing this problem by updating the MacBook Air release, but, the problem persist if you are doing hard tasks like playing games.

Why buying a Mac Book Air when you can get something better for half of its price? The answer is simple: It is the thinnest notebook in the world!!!

The same pattern repeat itself in every Apple’s product: cute, expensive and full of flaws. I am not against Apple and I don’t believe they are the worse company in the world. I acknowledge that they have done some pretty good things. What I can’t stand are the people who buy from Apple without even taking in consideration the kind of product that they are buying. They buy from Apple just because is shiny and then they feel better than anyone else.

Do the easy stuff counts too?

Throughout our lives all of us go through the hard stuff of life. When we are kids we don’t have as many responsibilities as we have when we are grown ups. Usually our parents are always trying to provide everything we need, saving us the hard work because at that age we can’t really do much. What is the gratitude that we show to our parents after they provide us with food, toys, commodities that were obtained through their hard work? We call it childish behavior. It is when a kid throw his food on the floor, when he destroys his own toys and when then he asks for a better toy after destroying the previous one. Children do these things because they don’t appreciate what they have because they didn’t make any effort to get it.

Later in our lives when we are more independent, we start to appreciate the value of things. When things are hard to get they have more value. We as human, have to overcome all the difficulties of daily life. Each person have their own problems, but all of us have something similar that help us overcome them. The joy of a challenge. As humans we are always looking seize our goals and dreams and after we accomplish them, we look for another dream, another challenge that would bring meaning to this futile life. Brutus Hamilton couldn’t express it better when he said “It is one of the strange ironies of this strange life that those who work the hardest, who subject themselves to the strictest discipline, who give up certain pleasurable things in order to achieve a goal, are the happiest people.”

The monotony of our life can be destroy by simply setting other goals or looking for defying challenges. If we are not afraid of new challenges, we will live our life in its maximum.

Carpe Diem.

Living as a exchange student in New York

My name’s z1m10. I am a student from a third world country, who was given a chance to study in one of the universities of New York. I left my family, my friends and everything i knew to come to live to a completely unknown place for me, with people I’ve never met.

Right now am staying with my uncle, in a place near to my college. Am studying at Hostos Community College. Although I failed the ACT test am taking an intensive program to help me improve my writing skills. And as you might be wondering, yes, this blog is also to help me improve my writing skills. So, if anyone is reading, i would appreciate any correction you send me.

All my life i was trying to figure what i was suppose to do the rest of my life, even when i was nine years old. Now am eighteen and i know exactly what i like to do the most. Computer programming, i feel lucky that at this age i know what i would like to do the rest of my life. Compared to my fellows students who don’t have a such conviction. This blog was first intended to be a computer programming blog about Mono, C# and GTK. But after a while i lost the interest for C#. I would like learn to something like C++ which is a general purpose language. For this blog maybe I’ll do a mix of all the things I like.
